Ear Lobe Repair
Torn or split earlobes are a very common not only for females but for men as well. Causes for such defects include the use of heavy earrings over time, traumatic tears and earlobe dilation from gauges. Earlobe repair of enlarged holes, torn earlobes, or long earlobes can easily be repaired through earlobe surgery. After an earlobe surgery, the patient is advised against wearing earrings for 8 weeks to allow adequate scar maturity. To avoid recurrence, the earlobe will not be re-pierced through the repair scar; a new hole will be created for satisfying results.
